How Often Should I See A Weight Loss Dietician?
The ideal frequency of your visits depends on a few key factors, such as your medical history, relationship with food, long-term goals, and whether you're using insurance or a membership plan. Your dietitian will help create a schedule that works best for you.

For most patients, we recommend:

Every 1–2 weeks during the first 1–3 months of care

After that, some continue with biweekly sessions, while others shift to monthly or quarterly check-ins as they gain confidence and momentum

Once long-term goals are met, we suggest maintenance visits every 6–12 months to stay on track
For patients preparing for bariatric surgery:

Pre-surgery: At least 3 sessions are required for surgical clearance

Post-surgery: Weekly sessions are recommended until you’re comfortably eating a soft diet and meeting your nutritional needs, followed by biweekly check-ins for 3–6 months

After your recovery and progress, long-term check-ins every 6–12 months are encouraged
